Christina Applegate is engaged
The actress is to marry musician Martyn Lenoble after he popped the question earlier this year. The pair are yet to set a date or make any arrangements for their big day, with Christina apparently in no hurry to walk down the aisle.
"Actress Christina Applegate and musician Martyn Lenoble are engaged," a statement read. "The couple, who have been dating for two years, got engaged on February 14, 2010. This will be the second marriage for both. There is no set date for the wedding at this time."
Christina was previously married to actor Jonathan Schaech, but their union ended in 2007.
The 38-year-old was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and underwent a double mastectomy. She has spoken about her battle with the disease, saying she prefers to focus on the positive things than happened during that time.
"You know, on one hand there`s all of that, and on the other hand I`ve fallen very much in love, so that`s another thing that`s happened," she explained. "So there`s a good end to every story."
