Nick Cannon marries wife Mariah Carey every year
The couple wed after a whirlwind romance in 2008, and have agreed to renew their vows on their anniversary from now on. Nick knows some people think the plan is over the top, but he sees nothing wrong with celebrating his love for his wife.
The 29-year-old star still can?t believe he is with the woman of his dreams, and wants everyone to know how happy he is.
"I have to do it every single year...if you were married to Mariah Carey, you`d want to marry her every year too! I just have to keep doing it to make sure it`s real," he laughed. "This time it will be more traditional. The last two weddings we had were kind of island-driven and off in remote places. This time we`re going to do it home."
Nick and Mariah, 41, have been beset by rumours they are having a baby together, with Mariah insisting she isn?t pregnant earlier this week. Nick has confirmed they do want kids together, and joked they might get round to it sooner rather than later so people stop gossiping about them.
He also explained how he deals with his wife`s fame, saying he has no problems being referred to as "Mr. Carey". "I love [the jokes], I welcome it. It`s fun...You take it with a grain of salt," he explained to Us Weekly magazine. "She is, to me, the most famous woman in the world. I knew [my life] was going to change, and I was up for it."
