Cheryl Cole takes maxi-dresses to hide her sins
The Girls Aloud singer-turned-solo-artist loves jetting off to exotic beachside destinations at least twice a year. She spends a considerable amount of time honing her holiday wardrobe before each trip, and is always sure to include several voluminous frocks to cover her stomach when she has overindulged in fatty foods.
"I`ve got loads of bits I bring out for a holiday," Cheryl explained. "I do love a kaftan for when it gets a bit chilly and I love maxi dresses - they?re brilliant if you?ve overdone it by the beach with the chips.
"They hide a multitude of sins. I always have a couple of those bad boys in the wardrobe."
Cheryl has been living in Los Angeles for the past few weeks as she works on her new solo album. She loves the city because it has warm weather and such a relaxed sense of style.
"People dress for their environment and in LA it`s a very relaxed lifestyle," she told the British edition of OK! magazine. "Over there you can walk out of the house in a pair of shorts and a vest top and it`s happy days, nobody will bat an eyelid. We`re quite fashion-forward in London in comparison."
