Rachel Stevens is desperate to have a baby
The 32-year-old former S Club 7 singer married Alex Bourne last year in a lavish ceremony at London`s Claridge`s hotel. They are still blissfully happy and now feel ready to start trying for their first child.
"We`d absolutely love to have children," Rachel gushed to British magazine New! "I think having children is the most amazing thing. I don`t know what kind of mum I will be until I go through it. It`s such a life-changing thing.
"But I do have a little niece and nephew so I can just about change a nappy and I think Alex would be great - very hands-on."
Rachel is currently working on her third solo album. She can`t believe she has already been married for 10 months, and hopes the next 50 years pass as happily as the past few months have.
"Married life is lovely," she said. "But I can`t believe it`s almost a year as it`s gone so quickly. I love married life and Alex is lovely!"
