Winners of the Nobel prize in physics
The Nobel prize in physics for 2018 was awarded to Arthur Askino, Gerard Moore and Donna Strickland for innovative inventions in the field of laser physics, said Nobel Committee of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
It is noted that their discoveries have produced revolution in laser physics today " an extremely small and extremely fast processes can be observed in a new light."
Askin will get half the reward " for the optical tweezers and their use in biological systems." The other half will be awarded to professors Moore and Strickland
