Phil Spector is releasing a new album
The legendary producer - who is currently in prison serving a minimum 19-year sentence for the 2003 murder of actress Lana Clarkson - has masterminded the debut album of his wife Rachelle, `Out of My Chelle`, which will be released on June 8.
In a statement, Spector said: "She`s fantastic on this album."
The 70-year-old music guru - who married Rochelle, 29, in 2006 - worked on the tracks for around two years between his murder mistrial which ended in 2007 and the second trial which resulted in a conviction for second-degree murder in April 2009.
The last full album Spector produced was `End of the Century` by The Ramones which was released in 1980, although he did work with British band Starsailor on their 2003 LP `Silence Is Easy` but was fired due to creative and personal differences.
Two Spector-helmed tracks `Silence Is Easy` and `White Dove` did appear on the final album tracklisting.
