Brandon Flowers is to embark on a solo tour of the UK
The singer - best known as the frontman of US rockers The Killers - has confirmed he will head to the UK to play songs from his debut solo album `Flamingo`.
Brandon said: "We`ll definitely be over this year. I think it`s going to be very meat-and-potatoes at first. We`re going to learn the songs and then learn how to present them."
Despite using the shows to showcase his solo material, the `Human` hitmaker admits fans can also expect to hear his better-known hits.
He added: "A Killers song will creep in every now and then. It`s inevitable."
Discussing the tour, Brandon claims his backing-band will be made of people who the `Somebody Told Me` hitmakers Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci have come to know.
He told Xfm radio: "It`s a collection of guys that The Killers know. They`re our friends that we`ve acquired over the years."
Last month Brandon confirmed some song titles for his debut album, including `Hard Enough` and `Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas`.
He has worked with Madonna and Kylie Minogue collaborator Stuart Price on `Flamingo` as well as Daniel Lanoid and Brendan O`Brien.
