Jessica Alba cried while getting back into shape
The star has 23-month-old Honor with her husband Cash Warren. Although she took care of herself while pregnant Jessica didn`t worry about putting on weight as she was only concerned with her unborn baby`s welfare.
She returned to work not long after Honor was born, meaning she knew she had to hit the gym soon after the birth. "It hurt and I cried a lot. I worked out with [personal trainer] Ramona Braganza for three and a half months before I started filming to lose the 55lbs I`d gained," she explained. "Breastfeeding helped, but I was back at work and my hormones were going crazy."
The 29-year-old now prefers to work out at home rather than going to the gym. She finds it easy to plan her exercise sessions if she can fit them into her daily routine, and has come to realise what really works for her.
"Running around after Honor keeps me in shape," she explained to the British edition of InStyle magazine. "I don`t have time to go to the gym, but I do power yoga at home, which is a nice combination of cardio and stretching."
