Former UN Secretary-General Perez de Cuellar died at the age of 100 years
The famous Peruvian diplomat and former Secretary-General of the United Nations Javier Perez de Cuellar died on Wednesday evening at the age of 100 years, told Andina news Agency referring to his son, Francisco Perez de Cuellar.
Perez de Cuellar held the post of Secretary General of the UN from 1982 to 1991.
The funeral will be held on the first day weekend on the graves of Presb? Tero Maestro in Lima, will be accompanied by military honors corresponding to the head of the country.
Former UN Secretary-General turned 100 years old last Sunday, January 19.
