CHRISTINA AGUILERA makes an emotional first appearance since news of her marriage split was revealed yesterday.
Dressed down in trackies and a hat, the singer looked glum as she visited a friend in Los Angeles for a heart-to-heart and a hug.
Meanwhile, estranged husband JORDAN BRATMAN was across town visiting his lawyer`s office in Beverly Hills.
The couple announced their separation yesterday after five years together.
Christina said: "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever."
Hardly the most original statement.
