Rod Stewart revealed his secret to look young
The 65-year-old singer - who is expecting his second child with his 39-year-old wife Penny Lancaster - has revealed he works very hard to stay youthful and exercises everyday and also sticks to a healthy eating plan.
However, Rod admits he does pamper himself at the beauticians to keep his skin soft.
He said: "I work like a dog to look like this. There`s no easy option. I`m obsessed with my health ? I have a trainer five days a week.
"But the thing is not to worry about age. I don`t give a toss about getting older. I like it as long as I`m healthy. My skin is good because I`ve had a facial every week for 30 years. I started when I was with my first wife Alana Hamilton. Back then it was just me and a load of women at the beauticians. Now they`re getting the men in too. I was the trailblazer for all that men`s grooming stuff."
Although the `Maggie May` hitmaker lives a healthy lifestyle, he insists he does indulge in some treats each week and admits he can`t live without tea.
He added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I have a couple of glasses of wine every day after 7pm. I like Italian wines. On top of that it`s tea. Proper British tea. Since I moved to Los Angeles in 1975, one of the biggest causes of me having a row is people not making tea properly. I love my tea. Having a little bit of what you fancy is definitely all good."
