Lilly Allen recovers fron sepicaemia
Already reeling from the tragedy of her recent miscarriage, Lily Allen has been diagnosed with blood poisoning.
The singer`s rep confirmed that she and partner Sam Cooper had lost their baby in the six month of pregnancy last week.
And just days later, Lily was rushed back into hospital with septicaemia.
The bacterial blood condition often occurs after a miscarriage and is potentially fatal, but since Lily was taken to hospital by ambulance on Friday evening, she seems to be doing well.
Her representative, Murray Chalmers, released a statement confirming that Lily "is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve".
Lily`s Twitter page was flooded with support after the announcement of her miscarriage and subsequent illness, and the good wishes seem to have helped her recovery, with her rep adding: "Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."
On behalf of all our readers, we wish Lily a speedy and full recovery.
