Cher wants to quit music for films
The legendary singer - who won an Oscar for her performance in `Moonstruck` in the late 1980s - wants more movie work when she wraps up her Las Vegas show in February 2011 because of the fun she had on new project `Burlesque`.
She said: "There`s the opportunity to go on a tour, and yet I`m not so sure that that`s something I want to do immediately because I`ve been working for a long time.
"I did like working on this film so much that I really would like to do another film. I`m never going to do a lot of films."
Despite her love of `Burlesque` and plans to work on more films, she admits getting herself to look so good for the cameras when shooting on-set was challenging.
She said: "There`s a team of five dozen people and it takes them two hours.
"Once we started, I was totally there, but it was hard getting there. There was a lot of transitional time to have the character get to the place where you see her on screen. But, once I was there, I was always fabulous."
Prior to `Burlesque`, Cher`s last big film was 1999`s `Tea with Mussolini, where she played Elsa Morganthal Strauss-Armistan.
