Amy Winehouse will tour Brazil next year
The `Rehab` hitmaker has rarely performed live - and never with a full backing band - since 2008, and the announcement of the "one off" tour in January appears to be a sign she is ready to make a comeback.
Posting on her official site, one fan, luwinehouse , wrote: "THANKS FOR COMMING TO BRAZIL!"
The singer - who is presently said to be working on the follow up to her multi-million selling `Back To Black` album - will perform four dates in the short tour, including stops in Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
One of Amy`s most recent public performances came in October, when she appeared at a London bar and reportedly reduced onlookers "to tears" with her performance.
Amy borrowed a guitar to sing, and performed her hit `Tears Dry On Their Own`, as well as two tracks from her new album.
She told the crowd: "Don`t let anyone tell you you`re wrong and you can`t do it. Keep going. You can make it. Everyone tried to hold me back, but look at me, I`m back."
Tickets for Amy`s Brazilian shows are on sale from 22nd November from www.livepass.com.br
