At least six foreigners named as airport blast victims
At least six foreigners, including two British and one German, are on the list of 25 identified victims of the Moscow airport blast, released by the domoded24.com website on Tuesday.
The website, set up to coordinate all information about the blast, identifies the victims as U.K. passport holders Cousland Gordon Campbell and Kirill Burdashev, and German national Minderop Hendrick. The other three are citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
"Body identification is over by now, the identities of 25 victims, who carried documents, have been conclusively established. Other bodies can not be identified at the moment," the Komsomolskaya Pravda paper quoted a police source as saying.
"We also have body fragments which investigators hope the relatives might be able to identify. The remaining fragments would require a DNA test."
According to preliminary reports, a suicide bomber blew himself up in the airport`s crowded international arrivals hall on Monday afternoon, killing at least 35 people and injuring up to 180, 48 of them seriously.
In its latest report, Russia`s health ministry said 97 people were taken to hospitals after the blast,.
