Russian police seize home-made cannon
Police in Russia`s Far East have seized a two-meter home-made cannon from a local car mechanic.
The amateur gunner, who had built the cannon from available materials, used the weapon to fire "ice-filled beer cans," a police spokesman said, adding that the gun`s range exceeded 200 m (656ft).
Plans and technical details for arms production were discovered at the man`s home.
An investigation is underway.
