The 80-year-old actor-turned-director previously claimed 2008-s -Gran Torino- would be his last movie role, but he admits he could be tempted to come out from behind the camera if he was offered the right project.
He said: "I would act if the right role came along. But I-m not looking does it because there are not that many great roles that would be something different for me to play, to conquer.
"I don-t know, I never say never, like JamesBond or something."
Clint also admitted working on his latest movie -Hereafter- made him more conscious of his own mortality.
He added: "I-ve thought about it, certainly doing the project. I don-t think dwell upon it in everyday life but, when I was doing the project, you start thinking about it.
"I guess I-m at the stage in life where I like stories I-ve never done before."
The screen legend also revealed he has considered retiring, but has no plans to do so.
He added: "I-ve thought about it a few times, but I think because I-m learning something new in the process, I enjoy what I do."
