Chipmunk will stand by Chris Brown until the "day he dies"
The 20-year-old rapper - who collaborated with the US star on single `Champion` and his second studio album `Transition - explained working with the `Yeah` hitmaker was the "biggest learning experience" he`s ever gone through.
He told BANG Showbiz: "Working with Chris Brown was definitely the biggest learning experience I`ve had in my musical career so far and I would stand behind Chris as a talented artist until the day I die.
"Personally, too. Yeah, he`s my friend and I will always support him."
Chipmunk recently praised Chris - who was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 - saying he is the only artist who could do `Champion` justice.
He said: "It`s from the heart, it`s a true story. I felt every single word and Chris meant every single word. I didn`t want it to feel like I was just moaning about life. I wanted to uplift the people so I knew it needed something. It needed belting out.
"That`s when I thought of Chris Brown. Nobody else is going to sing this better than him."
