Cheryl Cole has been sent healing crystals
The `Fight for This Love` singer was officially axed from the US version of the show earlier this month, just weeks after being confirmed as one of the judges, and her friends are now concerned over her well-being.
So they contacted astrologist Russell Grant - who bills himself as a "crystal power expert" - to send her some crystals after they heard Paula Abdul had recommended the therapy to Cheryl during their brief time together on the judging panel.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl`s friends have been really concerned. They told Russell to send her whatever he thought she would need."
Russell added: "Cheryl needs this at the moment. I feel sorry for her. I think she has been really let down."
Russell sent the 27-year-old beauty three stones in a silk purse, which are amethyst, which "protects from psychic attack"; Tiger`s Eye, which brings "protective energy"; and fluorite, to "dissipate nervous energy".
Cheryl has not been seen in public since it was confirmed she had been drooped from the judging line-up and replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.
As well as Paula and Nicole, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid are also judges on the highly-anticipated talent show.
