Evan Rachel Wood is "open" to dating men and women
The `Wrestler` star - who was previously engaged to shock rocker Marilyn Manson - is happy to be single at the moment because she is learning more about herself, but says when she is ready to embark on a new relationship, personality is the most important factor for her not what gender the person is.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I`ve stayed single since last summer. I was in relationship after relationship and everyone told me, `You need to spend some time alone and get to know yourself,` and I was terrified of doing that, but now I`m so glad that I`ve taken this time.
"But I don`t even have rules about dating guys or girls. I`m open. I`ve always been attracted to both sexes. I`m attracted to people`s confidence, rather than what sex they are - the way they carry themselves and their personalities."
While she is openly bisexual, the 23-year-old actress isn`t happy to date people who are her own age.
She said: "I can`t date guys my own age. I just can`t relate to men in their 20s. So right now 30 is the cut-off."
Although Wood`s on/off relationship with Manson finally ended in August 2010, the screen beauty insists she will always love the `Antichrist Superstar` singer but accepts the time was right for them to break-up.
She said: "I`ll always love him - we were engaged - but I think we were both ready to move on."
