One more storm disturbes americans.
Tropical Storm Tammy will come down on states Georgia, North and South Carolina.
At 7:30 a.m.(15.30 by Russian time) Tammy was about 35 kilometers of Cape Canaveral and it was moving up to north-north-east. The speed of the storm is 60 km/hour. As the magazine My Way informs that on the Florida`s east coast from Cocoa Beach to Santa-River in South Carolina forecasters issued storm warnings. Tornadoes from the storm are possible.
Robbie Berg, a meteorologist at the Miami hurricane center, told that because Tammy will spend so little time over water, it is unlikely to reach hurricane strength of 120 km/hour.
In Berg`s opinion it is difficult to forecast where Tammy will make landfall because it is moving parallel to the coast "and one slight variation in its track could bring it onshore."
Tammy is the 19th named storm of the hurricane season. Usually the hurricane season begins July 1 and ends November 30. The record for tropical storms in one year is 21, set in 1933.
