USA puts forward a proposal to Russia
WASHINGTON, November 11 -- The United States proposed to Russia to hold a bilateral meeting next week of Presidents George W. Bush and Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Busan, South Korea.
Washington is waiting for a Russian reply, National Security Adviser Steve Hadley told reporters on Thursday.
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum is scheduled for November 12-20, 2005 and is expected to gather heads of 21 states.
