Former Led Zeppelin bassist announced the creation of a new group
The former bassist and keyboardist English rock band Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones declared the establishment of the latest musical project called Minibus Pimps, informs Rolling Stone.
To record their latest album rocker has teamed up with renowned Norwegian performer of music in the style of dark ambient Helge Sten. It is assumed that their 1st album Cloud To Ground will be released on March 3. It will contain live recordings, composition and improvisation.
According to the plan of artists, the new record will show the connection between prog-rock of the 1970s and fresh musical movement in Norway.
John Paul Jones worked in a group Led Zeppelin from 1968 to 1980, then worked with artists such as Heart, Ben E. king, Foo Fighters, The Mission, Brian eno, Butthole Surfers, also signed up a couple of times with Paul McCartney. Since August 2009 he is a member of the band Them Crooked Vultures, tells RIA "Novosti".
