Russian figure skater disqualified for doping
Russian figure skater Oksana of Nugaleti disqualified for 1 year for the use of doping. This decision was made by the international skating Union (ISU).
According to the General Director of the Federation of figure skating of Russia (FFKKR) Valentina Piseev, Nugaleti confessed to use is not permitted substances, informs ITAR-TASS.
According to the statement Piseev, it is about slimming product that the skater has recommended a doctor, a friend of her parents, is not associated with sports. Director General FFKKR did not specify directly prohibited substance was used as an athlete, but suggested that it could be furosemide.
17-year-old Nugaleti is skating together with Maxim Bobrov. Positive doping test athlete passed on September 14 at the stage of the Junior Grand Prix in the Slovak Kosice. There the pair took the third place.
