Russian minister of foreign affairs Lavrov meets Rice in Pusan
PUSAN, November 17 - Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have had a meeting.
Shortly before the meeting with Ms. Rice, Lavrov said he was planning to discuss issues concerning Iran, North Korea, and the Middle East. He pointed out that the meeting would deal with subjects that "are permanently present in our dialogue": bilateral relations and regional conflicts.
"Iran, North Korea, and the Middle East will be discussed for sure," the Russian Minister pointed out. Lavrov recalled that Ms. Rice had recently returned home after a tour of the Middle East.
