Monument to Mandelstam to be erected at Nashokin lane
Monument to poet Osip Mandelstam can be erected at Nashokin lane of Moscow. This was announced by Evgeny Bunimovich, the vice-chairman of Moscow Duma Committee of culture.
"There were long discussions where monument can be erected. First address is a house at Nashokin lane. At present moment there is a park there", - said Bunimovich. He reminded that Committee gave its principal agreement on monument erection last year. Several bankers have desire to finance monument to poet.
At present moment there are a monument to poet in Vladivostok and a memorial board at Tver boulevard in Moscow.
