Government squadron "Russia" to have new aircrafts
The special squadron "Russia" which was created exclusively for superior direction of the country has begun forming new fleet of aircrafts.
Business-manager of Russian president Vladimir Kozhin said about that. According to Kozhin several Tu-214 were ordered for squadron needs and so-called relay - an aircraft that would supply governing body with a special communication. Business-manager is going to order Tu-204-300, which will take the place of Il-62 in the near future. "This program is intended for 4-6 years. We are going to order 2-4 aircrafts of each series", - said Kozhin.
Kozhin explained necessity of the renewal of the fleet of aircrafts most of airplanes do not meet the international requirements of noises, so there are some problems with obtaining a permit for flights abroad. The business-manager did not say about sum of the renewal.
According to Kozhin the special squadron consists of about 30 units of machinery - two president?s Il-96-300, two Tu-214, few modified helicopters Mi-8 and aircrafts Il-62, Tu-154M, Tu-134 and Yak-40.
