Khodorkovsky was placed in job in colony
Mikhail Khodorkovsky who now is serving his sentence in a colony IK/10 in Krasnokamensk in Chita region has been placed in a job and is working in a sewing workshop.
"The convict Khodorkovsky was placed in a job like all other prisoners and after a short course of training he began his work as a sewer", - the director of Russian Federal service of execution of penalties (FSEP) Yuri Kalinin informed "Interfax".
When he was asked how much is ex-oligarch?s salary Kalinin answered: "He will be paid by the job, so he will get as much money as he earns". Khodorkovsky sews working clothes. "That is what they need there" - said Kalinin.
"No one forbad him to meet with his lawyers but prisoners have a daily routine and it cannot be broken" - noticed Kalinin.
According to Kalinin lawyers had permit for meeting with their client after a workday. "According to the law lawyers have right to talk with a client for four hours, so they may meet him but without violating the daily routine." - said the head of FSEP.
As for lawyers? examination, again according to the law all who visit correctional facility must be examined. Moreover the lawyer Mkrtychev had some documents which were seized and which do not bear relation to his work. These documents were sent to Rosregistration for making a decision about accordance of his activity with the law", - said Kalinin.
