Director of "Night watch" to shoot comics
Universal Pictures has confirmed Timur Bekmambetov?s appointment as a director of the film "Wanted".
The creator of "Night watch" will have to transfer to the screen the popular comics by the artist Mark Millar, the website Comingsoon.net reported referring to the magazine Variety. "Wanted" tells the story of a shy clerk Wesley Gibson, who found once that his own father was the head scoundrel of all times. After Gibson-senior?s death his son was recruited by the secret organization which was going to make him worth successor of his father.
The script of "Wanted" was written by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt ("2 Fast 2 Furious").
