Thick fog in remains until middle of night in Moscow
According to weather forecaster?s prognosis thick fog which rose in the Russian capital on Thursday will remain until the middle of this night.
Now visibility on road of the capital city is not more than 300-500 meters, Hydrometeorology Bureau of Moscow and Moscow region reported.
Such thick fog is due to several facts? coincidence: thaw, low nebulosity, very high humidity and lack of wind", - the representative of meteorological service explained.
According to weather forecasters? data fog will lift by the middle of the night, the temperature pulldown to below zero will have an influence upon that. The temperature of the coming night in Moscow is expected to be minus 1 to 6 degrees.
Meanwhile the main capital meteorologist informed that snowfall is expected next night. "About 2-3 centimeters of snow might fall during the next night in Moscow, and increase of blanket of snow 4-8 centimeters is expected in the capital on Friday", - said the director general of Hydrometeorology Bureau of Moscow and the region Alexei Lyakhov.
He noticed there was not expected increase of blanket of snow in Moscow on Thursday because sleet would settle and thaw a little.
Lyakhov added fall of temperature in the capital begins in the evening of Friday when the temperature falls to minus 5 degrees. "We expect since 10 to 12 December temperature will fall to minus 10-15 degrees night hours and during the day it will be minus 3-8 degrees", - said the meteorologist.
