Russians Evgeny Kisin and Maxim Vengerov compete for prestige musical award "Grammy" in nomination "Best classical solo performance on musical instrument".

Pianist Evgeny Kisilev is nominated for best solo performance of Skryabin, Metner and Stravinsky musical compositions. Violinist Maxim Vengerov is a nominee of highest musical award for records of Kreisler, Paganini compositions. In category "Best performance of chamber music" one of 5 candidates is declared Russian State quartet named after Borodin, which celebrates 60-th anniversary this year.
"Grammy" premium is annually awarded by USA National sound recording academy, which unites 20 thousands of world music representatives. Solemn 48-th ceremony of "Grammy" presentation will take place in Los-Angeles on February 8 of next year.
