Russian frontier guards detained trawler near Japan waters
Russian frontier guards detained Russian fishing trawler "Lona", which tried to hide in Japan territorial waters.
As press-service of frontier coastguard administration informed, Japan sea security service evicted trawler from state territorial waters. After that ship was immediately detained by Russian patrol. Group of coastguards from Russian guars ship is already on board and started examination.
Frontier guards started persecution of Russian fishing ship on Friday morning, December 9, after trawler ignored demand to stop for examination. Instead of that ship, assigned to Hasan port of Littoral krai and owned by Littoral company, directed to territorial waters of Japan. Patrol ship "Paliya" started persecution.
Later An-72 of frontier air regiment of Russian Federal Security service opened tentative fire, and started shooting at head of "Lona". Despite of damages, ship-infringer had time to hide in territorial waters of Japan.
