Russia demanded KNDR to return ship
Russian vice-minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Saltanov invited Ambassor of Korean National-Democratic Republic in Moscow Pak Y Chun.
During conversation Saltanov expressed anxiety in the view of unwarranted investigation of incident with Russian motor ship "Ternei", detained by Korean frontier guards on December 5. The goal of peaceful entering of Korean territorial waters was preservation of sailor`s life during the storm.
Russian vice-minister of Foreign Affairs demanded from Korean side to release Russian ship and crew, so they can leave territorial waters of Korea and return home.
Earlier, on December 10, it was announced that negotiations of Russian consul general in North Korean port Kim-Chek with local authorities were close to favorable end. But case didn`t move from dead point.
Meanwhile, it became known that crew of Russian ship has difficulties with provision.
