Russian figure-skater Slutskaya became second in "Grand Prix" final
Irina Slutskaya took second place in figure-skating "Grand Prix" final in Tokyo.
Russian sportswoman with result of 181.48 points for short and creative programs lost to Japan figure-skater Mao Asade, who collected 189.62 points.
Third place in female figure-skating competition took Japan sportswoman Yukari Nakano (161.82).
Another Russian figure-skater Elena Sokolova became the 5-th (159.08).
Russian national figure-skating team demonstrated good results in Tokyo: besides silver medal of Slutskaya, Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov were best in dances on ice, and Tatyana Tot`myanina with Maxim Marinin won competitions among sport pairs.
Russian figure-skaters didn`t participate in male competitions, where Swiss Stephan Lambel` has won. Plushenko had to refuse from "Grand Prix" competitions because of flu.
