Resignation in Kremlin. Illarionov leaves his post
Andrey Illarionov, Russian President?s economic adviser, sent in his resignation.
Changes in economical and political models are said to be the main reason for Illarionov?s resignation. According to him, he stayed on the post until he had possibility to do something, including speaking out. Moreover, during the six years of his work, not only economical policy, but economical model changed, having turned into completely corporative one, Illarionov says.
Earlier, Andrey Illarionov severely criticized the authorities, especially for YUKOS pull down, followed by its nationalization.
