Russian Federation makes last suggestion on price for gas
Russia has suggested the last gas price of $220-230/ a thousand cubic meters to Ukraine; and there is going to be no more price offers, told Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko. He denied that Moscow had agreed on a gradual transition to market prices for natural gas.
"Russia has provided Ukraine with the price offer. We have sent them agreements and contracts drafts, concerning natural gas export and transport ", Khristenko said to Journalists on Tuesday. Russian Minister called Ukrainian party to "accurately keep up to negotiation process".
Answering the question, if Russia cut gas flow to Ukraine, Khristenko said:
"January 1 is to come in any case. Russian Gas Corporation will follow its rights according to the signed agreements", assured Energy Minister.
