Fish learn fast and solve problems
Scientific group from Great Britain stated that fish are more intellectual than it was considered earlier. Cool-headed settlers of underwater regions can learn fast and are able to solve problems which even dogs can?t do.
Scientists from Oxford University investigated intellectual abilities of fish by special underwater barrier lane. Experts were surprised but Mexican blind cave fish coped with all problems within several hours. Fish noticed changes, which scientists made in order to trick them, and found solutions rather fast.
Fish remembered for months what they learnt. Scientists discovered that fish coped easily with complex intellectual problems which were a hardship for "more intellectual" animals such as dogs and hamsters.
"There is an opinion that fish are silly and cannot remember anything longer than several minutes. But we managed to dispel this prejudice. We found out that fish are very capable in learning, have good memory and possess a set of intellectual skills.", - said doctor Teresa Bert de Perera from Oxford university.
By her words, fish even recognize its owners and are offended and angry when somebody else tries to feed them.
