Khristenko: no doubts in Gasprom reputation appeared in Europe
Gasprom proved his reputation of the reliable gas supplier in Europe, thinks the chief of
Russia`s Industry and Energy Ministry Victor Khristenko. Russia had been a reliable partner for European countries, and Gasprom had always fulfilled its commitments, told Khristenko to journalists.
"No doubts in Gasprom reputation occurred to European cunsumers", said the minister, commenting agreements on gas conflict settlement with Ukraine.
"European consumers realized existing risks in the field of gas market", - thinks Khristenko.
According to him, Gasprom has compensated these risks last 7-8 years, that?s why there weren?t persistable.
Gas conflict clearly showed those risks and the ways to cover them, thinks the minister.
"Europeans realized the need to diversify the routs of Russian gas supply", underlined Khristenko.
The minister reminded that the gas pipeline Yamal-Europe-1 is to show planned production capacity this year, construction of North-European gas pipeline has began. The other projects are being developed, noted Khristenko. Answering the question about RosUkrEnergo, Khristenko said: "This is Gasprom?s partner, our partnership includes Central Asian gas transit to Ukraine"
"This structure has been operating for several years and given a good account of itself concerning realization Central Asian gas and transit projects", said the chief of Russia`s Industry and Energy Ministry.
