Rating of economics freedom: Russia is not free
Investment fund Heritage Foundation named Hong Kong the country with most free economics.
The second place in rating of economics` freedom takes Singapore. As president of organization Edwin Fowler noted, "Hong Kong has got highest marks for history of rating existence, and the difference between Hong Kong and Singapore is a symbolic one". Heritage Foundation calls these countries the most developed in freedom of economics.
Rating of 2005 covers 157 countries. 20 of them were recognized free, 52 - free by majority of parameters, 73 - not free by majority of parameters, 12 countries were called "the countries with suppressed economics". Experts of Heritage Foundation noticed improvement in 99 countries, worsening of situation in 51 countries and invariability of activities in 5 countries.
Great Britain took 5-th place in rating and became the most free in list of countries with world important economics, comparing with USA, which took only 9-th place. The year was successful for Germany, which entered the first twenty of most economically free countries on 19-th place. Series of scandals and suspicious actions of judges threw Italy back to 42-th place. China (111) and India (121) were recognized as countries not free by majority of parameters but experts noticed the positive growth of economics and amendments in legislation. Russian is on 129-th place. At the end of the list are Venezuela, Byelorussia, Iran and North Korea.
Experts are confident that the list of Heritage Foundation has a subjective character but world economics as a whole becomes freer.
