Most Russians satisfied with their place of birth, but would move to Germany if they had chance
The country of their birth satisfies most of all Austrians, Italians and Russians, show the results of the poll conducted by All-Russian public opinion research.
Most Russians, 78%, are contented to be born in Russia, and if they had a chance to choose the place of birth they would choose their country again. The same opinion expressed 87% of Austrians and 79% of Italians. Bulgarians (71%) and the Dutch (65%) are a little less satisfied with their place of birth. The British are the least satisfied with their country (only 55%).
If Russians had to emigrate from Russia, they would choose Germany (12%), the USA (5%), France (4%), Switzerland (3%), Great Britain (3%) and Ukraine (3%).
