Chepalova finished second in World Cup stage
Yulia Chepalova took the lead from the beginning of the distance and set the pace of the race till 13-th km, when Czech skier Katherine Noimannova successfully overpassed her.
Chepalova tried to run away from pursuers on 8-th km but Noimannova and German Evi Zahenbacher didn`t let her. On 13-th km Noimannova passed Chepalova on the rise. Russian skier and Zahenbacher tried to keep up with the leader but fell behind. Soon Chepalova left German skier far behind. Finally leader of World Cup Norwegian Merit Biorgen caught up with German sportswoman and won bronze.
