Leader of illegal armed unit Shamil Abidov killed in Dagestan
During special operation in Sergokalinsky district of Dagestan one of leaders of illegal armed formation, known as "Shariat", was annihilated.
"Today one of leaders of jamaat "Shariat" Shamil Abidov was killed. He was hiding in on of deserted houses in the suburbs of Urakhi settlement", - informed source in Dagestan Ministry of Interior Affairs.
The day before another rebel Telman Idrisov was killed during special operation in this district of the republic. Pursuit of Abidov started on Friday but was postponed at nightfall. Special operation resumed on Saturday morning.
Abidov was in federal and international search for series of terrorist actions and murder of law machinery organs` officials, committed in Dagestan during 2002-2005. He used to be on of closest mate of "Shariat" group head Rasul Makasharipov, killed in Makhachkala in June of last year.
