London mayor presented red 2-tired bus to Moscow
Mayor of London Ken Livingstone presented Moscow red 2-tired bus and invited mayor of Russian capital Yuri Luzhkov to Olympiad of 2012.
Mayors of 2 capitals greeted guests of second festival "Russian winter", which took place on Trafalgar square in London on Saturday.
"I thank mayor Luzhkov and Moscow administration, who organized arrival of actors to the holiday", - said Livingstone.
He reminded that he got acquainted with head of Moscow administration in Moscow just after election on position of London mayor, 6 years ago.
"I must admit that Luzhkov serves the example of ideal "father" of the city and I would be happy to realize half of goals, he fulfilled in life for Moscow", - emphasized Ken Livingstone.
Mayor of London also said that he met with Luzhkov during voting for summer Olympiad-2012 capital in Singapore. "As we met there Yuri assured that if Moscow loses voting, all its votes will be given in favour of London. I appreciate this gesture", - noted mayor.
"I invited Yuri with family to Olympiad, even if we are not mayors by that time, and we presented red 2-tired bus "Ruthmaster" to Muscovites", - he said.
