Russian singer Zemphira dressed in male clothes
Eccentric singer Zemphira decided to purchase first official costume.
The decision was made not by own wish - she was invited to grand New Year banquet, where dressing code was established. No jeans, running shoes and other rocker`s clothes. Only evening dresses and strict costumes. But girl refused to wear formal dress and preferred almost male costume.
Zemphira ordered "no matter what male costume, which must be sewed rather quick". Surprised specialists of elite fashion house insisted on female attire - elongated jacket and straight trousers. Though singer has chosen black color, tailors suggested brown tint, which emphasizes face color. Measurements along with material were sent to England for hand tailoring. Zemphira paid about $3500 for the costume.
