Astronomers have studied the formation of mercury from protoplanet
Scientists from the United States and Switzerland have analysed the likely dynamics of forming a progressive structure of mercury.
Their research the authors have released the article in the journal Nature Geoscience, shortly with its contents can be found on the website of the University of Arizona.
Astrophysics held numerical forecasting of dynamics of formation of mercury and concluded that in the early days of the Solar system, more than 4 billion years ago, in orbits around the Sun has seen a number of conflicts of space objects, in consequence of which some fragments formed a modern planet, and others were thrown out of orbit.
In one of the models proto-mercury almost tangent faced proto-Venus, in consequence of which a substantial part of the mantle and crust early mercury have been scattered in the surrounding space and collected later Venus.
Extensively famous conjecture education of mercury contained in the fact that the modern structure of the planet was formed as a direct consequence of the conflict, protoplanet and the space object. After this interaction, as hoped professionals could happen breakdown in the environment of a significant part of external crust and mantle protoplanet. However, abnormally high content of mercury potassium, sulfur, chlorine and sodium, which also pledged to leave the planet, contradict such a conjecture.
The chemical composition of mercury is the closest to the Sun, the stars is significantly different from the other terrestrial planets. At its core, composed of iron and Nickel, accounting for about 65 percent of the mass of the planet
