Russian Totmyanina and Marinin lead in championship for figure skating
Russian Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin lead in competitions of sport pairs in European championship for figure skating, which started in French Lion town on Tuesday.
For performance in short program Totmyanina and Marinin have got 68.01 points and are almost 2 points ahead of another Russian duet Maria Petrova and Aleksey Tikhonov (66.07 points). Third result demonstrated German pair Alena Savchenko and Robin Sholkovy. Third Russian pair in this category Yulia Obertas and Sergey Slavnov are on 4-th place, losing 2 points to German sportsmen.
Champions of Europe among sport pairs will be known on Wednesday. Tatyana Totmyanina and Aleksey Marinin have a great chance to become European champions for 5-th time in a row.
