Livanov: Russia may increase the quota in higher education for immigrants from Ukraine
Russia may increase the quota for the admission of immigrants from the South-East of Ukraine, said the head of the Ministry of education and science Dmitry Livanov, speaking at the Congress of the Russian Union of rectors.
" Provide for adequate additional budget places. Currently 1500, and applications are all within five hundred, but we do not exclude that applications will be much greater. If necessary, we and the quota will increase, " said Livanov.
He also asked the universities that will take students from Ukraine, to give priority to their accommodation in hostels.
