AutoVAZ schedules to release "Lada-Priora"
AutoVAZ is scheduling to the end of summer - the beginning of fall to start a new car "Lada-Priora" production, informed President of the company Igor Yesipovsky.
In future "Lada-Priora" shall replace the family of cars "Lada-10" on the production line of automobile plant.
Yesipovsky also told about AutoVAZ plans to construct a new assembly plant with productive capacity of 450 cars a year, about 200 hectares have been reserved for it already.
As AutoVAZ board of directors chairman Vladimir Artyakov noted, investments volume into the new production establishment hadn`t been defined yet, but "it?s likely the matter of several billions dollars". In this connection, noted he, AutoVAZ in association with "Rosprom" is preparing a proposal on state investment policy for the plant.
The terms of new plan constructon has not been approved yet, however a new plant is to be constructed for about three years.

At the same time, Yesipovsky said, AutoVAZ is going too modernize the existing production capacities.
