Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs prohibited Moscow to name Kokoity the president
Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs appeals to Russian MFA to refrain from mentioning of South Osetin leader Edward Kokoity as a "president" of self-declared republic.
"It should be mentioned that Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to call the leader of separative authorities Eduard Kokoity as "president of South Osetia". Georgian MFA appeals to Russian colleagues to refrain from such incorrect statements, which are regarded by Georgian side as open support of separatism", - was said in message of Georgian Ministry.
Tbilisi also considered Russian appraisal of the accident in zone of Georgian-Osetin conflict after conversation with Edward Kokoity "as biased".
As a reminder, at night of February 1 in zone of the conflict "Ural" lorry owned by peace-makers` forces was detained by Georgian law machinery officials. Russian MFA accused Georgian side of escalation of the tension in conflict zone.
