Jailers confirmed innocence of Khodorkovsky
During Thursday sitting of the Krasnokamensk court, which considers a complaint of Khodorkovsky`s lawyers for imposed penalty, witnesses supported innocence of "YUKOS" ex-head. This was announced by lawyer of Khodorkovsky Natalia Terekhova.
"5 witnesses testified in favor of Khodorkovsky", - said the lawyer noting that officials of correctional facility gave testimony along with common prisoners working in clothing department.
As it was informed earlier Khodorkovsky`s sewing bench broke down. Ex-head of "YUKOS" went to search for repairman and was imposed a penalty for unauthorized leaving of working place. Behavior of the prisoner has been considered as violation of the interior regulations. At the same moment lawyers insist that the defendant followed the instructions and penalty was imposed illegally.
The sitting of the court has been postponed till February 7.
